Home Delivery

PawthosX has created Home Delivery workflows to help clinics coordinate eligible item delivery directly from PawthosX One.

This feature is designed for clinics that want a cleaner way to offer delivery for approved items without managing separate spreadsheets, manual texts, or disconnected delivery tools.

Home Delivery will allow clinics to prepare delivery orders, confirm client details, track status, and keep delivery activity connected to the client and patient record.

Current status: Built, pending partner approvals before scheduling is enabled.

Planned functionality includes:

  • Create home delivery requests from eligible invoices, prescriptions, or product orders

  • Confirm client address and delivery contact information

  • Select delivery-eligible items

  • Set clinic-defined delivery rules and restrictions

  • Track delivery status inside PawthosX

  • Notify clients when a delivery is being prepared, scheduled, dispatched, or completed

  • Store delivery history on the client and patient record

  • Support clinic review before any order is released for delivery

  • Enable scheduling once approved delivery partners are active

This will help clinics:

  • Offer more convenient client service

  • Reduce phone calls about pickup timing

  • Support medication, food, retail, and supply fulfillment workflows

  • Keep delivery activity connected to the medical and billing record

  • Improve visibility for front desk, pharmacy, and care teams

  • Reduce manual coordination outside the system

Home Delivery is intended to keep the clinic in control of what can be delivered, when it can be delivered, and which items require staff approval before release.

The goal is simple:

Let clinics move approved items from the hospital to the client’s home without turning delivery into another disconnected workflow.
