How PawthosX Communicates Product Updates
PawthosX is built to improve continuously, but we also know veterinary teams need consistency during the workday.
Our goal is simple:
Move the product forward without surprising clinics in the middle of daily operations.
This article explains how PawthosX communicates updates, what requires advance notice, and what will appear through our changelog.
New features, pages, and integrations
New additive improvements may be released without advance notice.
These include:
New features
New pages
New optional tools
New integrations
New reports
New exports
Backend improvements
Performance improvements
Bug fixes
Minor visual polish
Copy or label improvements
These updates do not remove existing workflows or force your team to change how they complete daily work.
When these updates are released, they will usually appear in the PawthosX changelog.
For larger additive releases, PawthosX may also send a separate announcement from:
Major workflow changes
Some changes affect how a clinic team moves through the day. These require more communication.
Advance notice is generally provided for:
Major redesigns
Large visible refactors
Navigation changes
EMR workflow changes
Atlas workflow changes
Checkout or invoice flow changes
Discharge workflow changes
Treatment plan workflow changes
Changes that affect clinic muscle memory
Replacement of an existing feature
Deprecation of an existing page or workflow
These changes may come with advance notice, documentation, walkthroughs, training material, or transition windows.
Release notice standards
Our internal release rule
Before a major visible update is released, PawthosX asks:
Does this change require a clinic team member to relearn where to click, how to complete a visit, how to charge, how to discharge, or how to move work forward?
If the answer is yes, we treat it as a workflow-impacting change.
If the answer is no, it may ship through the changelog as a regular product update.
Where updates are posted
PawthosX product updates may appear in:
The Changelog
The Roadmap
The Feedback Portal
Help documentation
Email announcements from Hello@pawthosx.vet
Why this matters
Veterinary teams do not need software that changes for the sake of changing.
They need a system that keeps getting better while respecting the rhythm of the clinic.
PawthosX will continue improving quickly, but major workflow changes will be handled with care, communication, and transition support whenever possible.
