It’s built for fast, transparent intake prioritization that keeps your entire flow aligned.

What TriageAI Does

TriageAI processes the critical signals behind every case and produces a clean, actionable urgency score.

It automatically:

  • Analyzes symptoms, breed factors, and severity markers

  • Produces a clear urgency color: Red / Yellow / Green / Blue

  • Suggests an appropriate care path: ER, urgent, routine, or home

  • Stores the full rationale + BRS (Breed Risk Score)

  • Pushes the result into your workflow so the next step is obvious

Everything is structured. Nothing is ambiguous.

How to Use TriageAI

TriageAI can be triggered from multiple entry points inside ClinicOS:

  • Automated intake forms

  • Client interactions through B.O.N.D. powered interfaces.

  • Manually by your team during check-in

  • Directly from Workflow+

  • Referral Partners in their portal

From the dashboard:

  1. Tap New Triage

  2. Select species → breed → symptoms

  3. Add optional modifiers (age, history, condition flags)

  4. Press Evaluate

  5. Review the result (urgency color + rationale)

  6. Route directly into Atlas → EMR → CarePlanAI, or share with your team

This keeps your entire triage → exam → plan workflow tightly connected.

Integrated Actions

TriageAI isn’t a one-off tool — it plugs into your whole workflow.

From any result, you can:

  • Send a summary to messaging tools

  • Trigger an alert for the medical team

  • Auto-tag the intake in all AI + workflow systems

  • Link urgency to room assignment via Atlas Whiteboard

  • Push the context forward to the EMR and CarePlanAI automatically

The goal: one triage → the rest of the system stays in sync.

Pro Tips

  • Use quick-pick clusters for common complaints (vomiting, limping, GI upset, respiratory signs)

  • Staff can start triage on mobile and continue on desktop without losing context

  • Watch for the BRS alert icon — it flags hidden high-risk breeds even when symptoms look mild

  • Combine TriageAI with PulseCheck to understand how incoming cases affect current load

FAQ

What happens if the triage result feels off?

You can override it immediately.

If you flag it, MCP and internal review systems use that feedback to improve future outputs.

Human-in-the-loop governs everything.

Do clients ever see the triage score?

Only if your clinic configures visibility through B.O.N.D. or RDVM referral summaries.
By default, TriageAI is for internal use.

Are ITS and BRS customizable?

  • ITS (Intake Triage Settings) lets each hospital define comfort zones and redirect cases outside its scope to preferred referral partners.

  • BRS (Breed Risk Score) is internal PawthosX logic and updated centrally.
When updates occur, your team receives a login alert.
